OX2 Offices – Milan
Stefania Micotti architetto designed a modern space with shades of green for the OX2 offices in Milan, Italy.
The project for the new offices of the OX2 AB Italian Branch company, based in Sweden and which mainly deals with renewable energy, is located in a residential building in a central area of Milan, recently converted into a tertiary sector.
The design intention was to keep the existing and anonymous floors and ceilings, to emphasize from a chromatic point of view the central load-bearing walls of the building (particularly deep and characterized by openings) to connect smoothly the various spaces, in order to create a palette in harmony with the company’s corporate identity.
The use of different variations of the color green, guarantees to express the right ‘green vibe’ to the entire project. Furthermore, the company’s origin from Sweden led the project towards choices of furniture and lighting with a marked Nordic flavour.
To support the color palette which, starting from green in a more grey-sage shade, ranges from blue-grey to mustard, stabilized vegetation is chosen to cover walls or characterize lighting fixtures, in order to create a warm, comfortable and domestic environment, useful to transmit in a very strong way the company’s principles and values.
