Patterson Companies Offices – Eagan
NELSON Worldwide created a collaborative space for the Patterson Companies offices in Eagan, Minnesota.
Patterson Companies sought to provide the same to employees when consolidating two existing satellite offices into the current headquarters in Eagan, Minnesota. Making the most of a limited budget and rooted in the sustainable practice of interior reuse, Patterson Companies engaged NELSON Worldwide to reimagine their new space.
NELSON focused on strategically dividing space into neighborhoods to ensure longevity and adaptability to employees’ changing needs without creating a dense or sterile open office landscape. Because Patterson Companies downsized and closed their three local satellite locations, the design team was required to suit out the renovated HQ with the best of the existing furniture where possible.
The two-floor headquarters is a sleek, fresh, and welcoming gathering place, enticing employees to socialize, collaborate, and be creative:
Touchdown areas are scattered throughout the office for focused and heads-down work – allowing hybrid employees to choose where they want to work when in the office. The cafeteria, sporting an efficient food line and serving a mix of both healthy and home-style comfort meals, attracts employees and visitors to venture deeper into the core of the building.
Prioritizing both external and internal brand awareness, an existing large-scale “We Are Patterson” 3-dimensional visual was relocated from one of the ancillary offices, and the Patterson Companies headquarters color palette focuses on the firm’s brand story.
NELSON also helped the corporate marketing team bring their vision of an in-house TV studio to life. The studio is large enough for interchangeable sets and is equipped with the latest AV equipment.
Prioritizing the needs of employees and providing solutions to accommodate a diverse range of workplace preferences, Patterson Companies headquarters is a modern and energetic environment for teams to enjoy and produce meaningful work.
