  • In the heart of Chicago’s Fulton Market district stands 1045 on Fulton. Situated in a rapidly evolving neighborhood, 1045 showcases a design philosophy that transcends aesthetics. It represents a deliberate effort to create an environment that harmonizes with the area’s rich history while paving the way for the future.

Upon entering, the building’s true character unfolds, embodying a vision where luxury meets functionality. SCB’s design for the building’s amenities draws inspiration from the lavishness of hospitality. This is evident in the maximalist approach to materiality, where diverse patterns and textures coalesce to create a tapestry of visual experiences. The striking contrast of exposed concrete, acknowledging the neighborhood’s industrial heritage, against the backdrop of refined furnishings and finishes, narrates a tale of evolution and refinement.

Designed with tenant comfort as its primary focus, the boutique, club-like environment of 1045 incorporates elements such as WELL and LEED Silver Certifications, touchless technologies, and a medical-grade MERV-15 air filtration system. These features underline a deep commitment to well-being and sustainability. The building’s biophilic design further enhances the ambiance, fostering a connection with nature.

The amenities at 1045 on Fulton are a testament to luxury. The 9th floor amenities include a bar & lounge, a library room that doubles as a private dining space, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and an expansive outdoor terrace. The choice of materials reflects an eye for sophistication: Calacatta Viola marble at the bar, decorative woven metal mesh at the spirits lockers, and bespoke styled elements.

The library echoes the commitment to authenticity and depth. With features like seating along the glass, it blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a seamless transition that invites the outdoors inside. 1045 on Fulton Street is a meticulously crafted space that tells a story of luxury, comfort, and the dynamic spirit of Chicago.
