Stibbe Law Firm Offices – Luxembourg
Stibbe’s partnership with Tétris Design & Build to design new offices prioritizes confidentiality and collaboration, incorporates justice-inspired elements and open spaces to enhance employee well-being and attract talent.
International law firm Stibbe has partnered with Tétris to design its new offices, setting high expectations for flexibility, well-being, and sustainability. The firm’s primary goal was to create individual offices to uphold confidentiality while also fostering spaces for informal gatherings and collaborative work. Creating a top-notch work environment was crucial for retaining the existing team and attracting new talent, reinforcing Stibbe’s competitiveness and brand image as they strive for growth.
Tétris approached the project by thoroughly understanding the end users’ needs, developing a user journey that blends elegance, functionality, and symbolism. Drawing inspiration from the symbols of justice—balance, order, and harmony—the design team carefully selected materials such as parquet flooring, wood paneling, glass partitions, and vibrant green plants to create a visually appealing and serene atmosphere.
To pay homage to legal texts, cupboard fronts were designed reminiscent of book edges, while a lounge-library and screen-printing in the stairwell proudly display the physical presence of books. Balancing the need for confidentiality with a desire for openness, the design prioritizes unobstructed views and transparency.
Significant modifications to the initial plan were made to enhance collaboration and team interaction. An internal staircase connecting the fifth and sixth floors was added, fostering cross-team engagement, while a terrace adjacent to the common room on the sixth floor provides additional space for relaxation and informal meetings.
Stibbe’s new office design by Tétris successfully captures the firm’s aspirations for a high-quality, functional, and sustainable workspace. This collaborative endeavor reflects the strong commitment to excellence and growth, further strengthening Stibbe’s position in the competitive legal market.
