The areas of sustainability and electromobility are more important than ever before and increasingly require fast, innovative and future-oriented solutions. The old administrative building with classic cellular offices could no longer meet these requirements – a new office building was needed and with it a new workplace concept. As experts in New Work Consulting, the planning office MPS ARCHONIC was commissioned with the task of creating a new working environment on 700 square meters for Enoplan.

A new office building, new working environments and new ways of working – many changes also raise many questions for employees. In order to create acceptance and provide security, employees must become part of the process.

To this end, the New Working Worlds team at MPS ARCHONIC has developed various modules in which employees can actively participate in the project or are accompanied through the process as part of change management.

In order to create an intelligent use of space, the activity structures, needs and communication channels of the individual departments were analyzed as part of an employee survey. The results made it possible to define the number and size of the rooms, zones and workstations could be defined and translated into the space. The planned multi-space concept is mainly zoned by self-sufficient room modules that separate the open work areas visually and acoustically.

At the same time, the systems offer meeting situations in different qualities and sizes, creating a wide range of options for quick and spontaneous exchanges of ideas. Certain areas in the open space have been designed with special features to accommodate the different activities. These special areas are deliberately conceptually different from the classic workstations in that they have different colors, lights and acoustic panels.
