Morgan Lovell transformed Kobalt’s office in London into a dynamic space that blends stunning architecture, music-inspired elements, and sustainable design, fostering creativity and unity while overcoming unique challenges.
Global music management and publishing firm Kobalt envisioned a dynamic new office without the traditional corporate feel, brought to life by Morgan Lovell. The design embraces the stunning architecture of Hays Galleria, with exposed ceilings and a focus on natural light working together to bring out the iconic view over the river Thames.
A motif of music runs through the veins of the office, with vinyls, themed artwork and neon signage tastefully reinforcing the company’s electric identity. With seamless branding throughout the workspace and repurposed furniture from their old building, the space oozes personality whilst mindfully contributing to the company’s commitment to sustainability.
At the heart and soul of the office lies the recording studios, where soundproof walls cocoon artists in a world of creativity and cutting-edge equipment. Warm colour palettes and comfortable furnishings blend to create cosy, collaborative and creative spaces that empower people to innovate and inspire.
The central location of the building’s lift, creating a divide in the office, presented Morgan Lovell with a unique challenge. The innovative solution was to design the reception area strategically to bridge the gap between either side of the lift entrance, harmoniously connecting the two spaces.
Environmentally conscious, innovative and energetic – Kobalt’s new space aligns flawlessly with the company’s vision, fostering a sense of unity and creativity that well and truly steals the show.
