Galaxy Group Offices – Gurugram
Chalk Studio designed a modern, corporate office space in Gurugram for the Good Earth Infra team with a focus on bringing the outdoors in and creating a warm, airy atmosphere.
It is a 3000-square-foot, office space in the Good earth Business Bay-II complex, Gurgaon. The space was to be occupied by the Good earth Infra team which is a well-known infrastructure & builder brand in the real estate community.
The team demanded a space that did not resemble a typical real estate office, but at the same time reflects the mature & corporate sense that a sales team requires. The office space was on the ground floor of a complex which was not surrounded by a lot of high – rise buildings and had a fairly clear view of the Aravalli hills & that is exactly what we were inspired from. To bring the outdoors in and evoke an airy, comfortable feeling.
The office opens into a fairly large reception designed keeping very minimal modern trends in mind, with a slight view of the big workstation area with a 13’ high ceiling. You have direct entry to 2 large meeting rooms showcasing modern but rich walnut veneer & warm mustards and rust tones that bring an overall warmth to very clean line modern and corporate interiors.
The workspace area is one where you experience the outdoorsy feeling with a 13’ high exposed rough finished ceiling, full height glazing marking the entire periphery of the open workstation space gives a clear view of the low-rise Aravalli hills and natural light softly grazing the marble flooring through the linen blinds.
Strategically placed director cabins & lounge have a clear view of the workstation area but privacy to conduct confidential meetings on the carefully planned furniture. The director’s cabin has a pocket sliding glass door that opens into a lounge to entertain guests or address larger teams.
Alongside the length of the workstations, there are telephone & meeting booths for the team to have discussions, zoom calls & meetings, all finished in the warm tones of rust acoustic & fabric paneling against and oak veneer.
Tucked away in the corner, is a fully stocked pantry with a color pattern play on the walls to break the comparative monotonous color palette in the workstation area.
