Indonesian Financial Group Offices – Jakarta
Mula Design Studio designed a flexible office space for IFG in Jakarta, emphasizing versatility and adaptability through interconnected furniture and modular elements for a dynamic work environment.
Times have profoundly altered our approach to work, with many individuals spending the majority of their waking hours in professional environments. Consequently, the workplace has become an integral part of our every day life, functioning as a nexus that connects living, working, and specialized activities. IFG shares our perspective on the office as an everyday space where significant interactions occur among employees, which is why they commissioned us to design their new office.
Our primary focus in this project is to create a flexible yet inviting environment that supports a wide range of activities and employee needs. The office is carefully crafted to facilitate focused work, meetings, and collaborative discussions, providing employees with options for private concentration or communal interaction to foster creativity. To enhance versatility, we have implemented a plug-and-play system where every space and piece of furniture in the office is interconnected and adaptable, allowing each area to transform as needed. This includes modular meeting rooms with movable acoustic walls, flexible furniture configurations, carpet tiles for wayfinding and zoning, and enclosed rooms equipped with modular elements that can be repurposed in the future.
