Malt Offices – Paris
Factory redesigned Malt’s 5,000 square-meter headquarters in Paris, emphasizing flexible and collaborative spaces to promote well-being and community among freelancers and employees.
In a post-pandemic context, working patterns are evolving towards greater freedom and hybridization, far from traditional linear careers. Malt, founded in 2013 by Vincent Huguet and Hugo Lassiège, has become Europe’s largest freelance community in ten years, connecting over 500,000 freelancers to 70,000 companies. In 2023, Malt decided to move its headquarter to Madeleine, Paris in a beautiful building of 5000m2. Malt commissioned Factory to redesign it entirely.
The new 5,000 m² premises, designed by Factory, embody Malt’s DNA by offering flexible, welcoming spaces that inspire well-being and collaboration. The building includes a variety of services such as a restaurant, a co-working space open not only to Malt’s employees but most importantly to Malt freelance community. The office also offers a concierge service, relaxation areas, sports facilities, all designed to strengthen cohesion and community. Amongst its top features, Malt has also reinvented its meeting rooms to bring to life its brand principles. Modularity and warm design aim to create a pleasant and stimulating working environment, true to Malt’s values.
