McKinsey Offices – Poznan
Trzop Architekci designed the modern and sustainable McKinsey Poznan office with a focus on biophilic elements, unique floor themes, and energy-efficient systems for employee well-being and environmental responsibility.
McKinsey Poznan office, located on five highest floors of the new building in Nowy Rynek Poznan, Poland, is a modern and sustainable office. Its design – rooted in biophilia – integrates nature into the office space to enhance employees’ well-being and environmental responsibility. Certifications LEED and WELL helped to build the office in which the materials are sustainably sourced and natural light, distant views and indoor plants create a calming and inspiring atmosphere.
The employees’ engagement in finding the leitmotif, names and themes for the new office resulted in creation of colourful and diverse space in which everybody, including neuroatypical persons will feel comfortable. The individual character and colour palette of each floor has been inspired by 5 natural settings: coral reef, beach, meadow, jungle and woods. All floors are joined together with an internal staircase that encourages movement and social interaction.
The office reception area is a truly welcoming and unique space. Here black and beige colours set a refined tone, and natural wood complemented with subtle gold accents creates a harmonious balance between organic beauty and classical elegance.
McKinsey Poznan office is a model of sustainability. Energy-efficient systems, such as LED lighting and advanced HVAC, help to reduce the environmental footprint, and water-saving fixtures and eco-friendly materials minimize the environmental impact. The office design not only contributes to the physical and mental health of employees, but also aligns with broader ecological goals.
