Oxana Mazurina Offices – Almaty
Designer Oxana Mazurina transformed a former stable in Kazakhstan into a modern office symbolizing the town’s development, blending innovative architecture with historical elements and local culture.
Client commissioned designer Oxana Mazurina to create a modern office. Through detailed discussions and visits to the town of Korday, Mazurina was able to develop the office’s architecture.
This project is notable for being built on the site of a former stable, once home to animals. The decision to establish an office in this location symbolizes the town’s development and modernization, which is officially considered a settlement.
This office is the first of its kind in Korday, exemplifying an innovative approach to construction. Modern materials were used in the project, allowing for the creation of a unique architecture and interior. Special attention was given to details reflecting the historical significance of the site. For instance, an open space features a painting depicting the steppe, serving as a nod to the land’s past.
The project is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, highlighting the connection to local culture and history.
