Warner Music Central Europe Offices – Berlin
GRAEF Office‘s design concept for Warner Music Central Europe’s offices in Berlin reflects the connection with a black-and-white groove pattern inspired by vinyl records, offering creative workspaces and music-oriented areas like a stage and lounge.
In 2021, GRAEF was entrusted with the task of designing and overseeing a new location in Berlin for Warner Music Central Europe. The goal was to create a space that not only reflected the connection to their headquarters in Hamburg but also served as an ideal platform for artists and employees to collaborate creatively. A key challenge was the seamless integration of sound technology, while ensuring the technical requirements for sound insulation were met.
After an extensive search, GRAEF identified a property in Berlin-Mitte that perfectly suited Warner Music’s needs. The building’s flexibility and design possibilities, along with its spacious terraces, made it an excellent choice for the BEAM building. The new space offers areas for both creative and focused work, with standout features including a stage, bar, and music lounge—designed to foster collaboration and innovation.
The interior design concept, called “The Wave,” was inspired by vinyl records, reflecting Warner Music’s corporate colors through black-and-white groove patterns. This theme flows throughout the space, seen in the round glass partitions, wave-shaped flooring, and key areas like the welcome zone, cocktail bar, music lounge, and performance stage. Vibrant furniture and carpets, seamlessly integrated with parquet flooring, symbolize the diversity of musical genres, while every part of the space was designed to be visually striking and “instagrammable.” Music fills the environment, creating a dynamic and immersive experience, embodying Warner Music Central Europe’s artistic vision.
