Banque Palatine Offices – Paris
Factory redesigned Banque Palatine’s administrative headquarters to modernize the offices, promote well-being, and enhance collaboration with flex-office spaces, using brand-inspired colors, shapes, noble materials, and natural elements.
Banque Palatine, a member of the BPCE group, commissioned Factory to reinvent its administrative headquarters on a 6,000 m² site in the Joya building in Fontenay-sous-Bois. The aim of the project was to modernise the ageing offices, meet the new aspirations of the 600-strong workforce, and bring together dispersed teams, incorporating flex-office to improve collaboration and attract employees back to the office. The challenge was to create a working environment for employees at the administrative headquarters that was in keeping with the brand as deployed in customer areas, and particularly in the branches, in order to promote well-being at work.
Factory has developed a decorating theme that draws on the brand’s codes, both in terms of colours and shapes. Open spaces such as coworking and open-spaces encourage collaboration, while zones of concentration offer privacy and calm. The design uses noble materials such as wood, terracotta and touches of brass, while incorporating nature into the office and in the outside spaces. Informal spaces such as a Café-Club and tea rooms encourage human contact, while signage in the brand’s colours recreates visual cues in a flexible environment.
