Just Climate Offices – London
Just Climate’s London office by Morgan Lovell embodies sustainable design through repurposed materials, natural finishes, and flexible spaces that support team expansion and collaboration while reflecting environmental commitment.
Just Climate’s new office on Swallow Street delivers modern office design without compromising on sustainability. With repurposed materials, natural finishes and branding, the office was efficiently delivered in just six weeks. The space not only supports team expansion and collaboration but also reflects their commitment to the environment.
Just Climate needed an office that would not only reflect their deep commitment to sustainability but also support their expanding team. Having recently moved out of shared offices, they now required a space of their own that could evolve with them. With six weeks to complete the fit out, Just Climate required a partner who could deliver with careful planning and flawless execution. The goal was to craft a warm, adaptable environment that would inspire the team and grow alongside them, all while staying true to their core values of sustainability and efficiency.
The key focus was to design and deliver a sustainable workspace as efficiently as possible. To achieve this, the design focused on adaptive reuse of materials and furnishings. By repurposing much of their previous office’s furniture, fixtures and materials, the carbon impact of the project was significantly reduced. Glass partitions, joinery elements and lighting fixtures were all reused, while sustainable cork flooring was installed to align with their values.
Just Climate’s office now features a blend of open-plan and more private workstations including three new meeting rooms and three private offices. These spaces offer choice, privacy and encourage collaboration. the space was designed with flexibility for further expansion in mind, with easily removable partitions.
Just Climate were delighted with the outcome of their first standalone office. The project not only met their sustainability goals but also provided a space that the team could thrive in. The layout, which reused much of the existing infrastructure, meant minimal environmental impact. The new meeting rooms, offices and wellness space have increased the functionality of the office, and the open plan design has encouraged better collaboration and productivity among team members.
