Krohnark designed a stylish and modernist office space for Euro Accident in a classic brick building in Oslo, focusing on fantastic material qualities and a warm color palette.

Firm
  • Client Euro Accident,
  • size 8,611 sqft
  • Year 2024
  • Location Oslo, Norway,
  • Industry Insurance,
  • In the heart of Oslo, between Akershus Fortress and the National Museum, overlooking the Oslo Fjord, lies the only building with a street address Hieronymus Heyerdahls gate. A classic brick building designed by architects Torp and Torp, completed in 1936.

The stylish and modernist building has fantastic material qualities, which was the main inspiration when we were lucky enough to assist Euro Accident with their office space on the top floor.

Euro Accident has a space inspired by elegant modernism and a warm color palette. The turntable was a key inspirational element and has been given pride of place in the social zone.

The first thing you see when you enter the premises is a large kitchen island, which really is the focal point of the space. The veneer surface echoes the original colors of the windows, which were previously in teak.

Elegant radiator covers were also designed to enhance the qualities of the building.

Light curtains and furnishings in a warm palette add to the feeling of coming “home”

We thank Euro Accident for their trust and congratulate them on their beautiful new premises!
