Swing Set’s new 7,600-square-foot office exemplifies design excellence, balancing functionality, sustainability and inclusivity to create a modern workplace that fosters creativity and supports well-being. DyeLot was tasked with designing a professional, creative workplace and post-production studio for Swing Set productions, supporting their expansion and service growth. The firm’s approach focused on blending technical functionality with spaces that inspire creativity and collaboration. The design seamlessly integrates acoustically sensitive studios with communal areas that foster engagement, while wellness-centered features—like eco-friendly materials, inclusive restrooms, and a dedicated wellness room, rooted in WELL Building standards —ensure a healthy, supportive environment. Collaboration with skilled artisans added authenticity, positioning Swing Set as a forward-thinking industry leader.
The office includes private and open workspaces, editing bays, a voice-over booth, breakrooms, and wellness areas, all designed to encourage collaboration and inspiration. Reflecting the playful yet contemporary brand of Swing Set Productions, DyeLot combined rich colors, finishes, and subtle forms to create a dynamic and inviting atmosphere. The design promotes inclusivity through accessible restrooms and a dedicated wellness room for both physical and mental health, ensuring a welcoming environment for all employees.
The acoustically sensitive studios feature advanced soundproofing, seamlessly integrated with adjacent collaborative areas to balance focused work with teamwork. Custom-crafted, sound-absorbing perforated panels, designed with a unique veneer, blend acoustic performance with aesthetic appeal, further contributing to the sustainable and productive work environment. Communal hosting areas were designed as flexible, welcoming hubs for interaction, fostering a sense of community while maintaining distinct work zones. These spaces serve as creative incubators, strengthening both internal collaboration and external client relationships, contributing to the company’s growth and partnerships. By prioritizing inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation, DyeLot exceeded the client’s vision, delivering a workspace that enhances productivity, creativity, and the spirit of community.
