Shefet designed a light, airy office for Lustig Engineers in Ramat Gan, featuring warm desert-inspired tones, homey elements, and a quick three-month renovation.
When Lustig Engineers decided to part ways with their former partner company and set up their own space, they had just one request: create an office that was light, airy, and far from the dark tones of their previous shared workspace. Their new office, a blank canvas of 200 square meters, awaited a total transformation—and we were ready to bring their vision to life.
We set out to craft a unique environment, one that balances professionalism with the warmth of home, reflecting the family-like culture of this 10-person boutique engineering firm. The entryway, designed as both a welcoming reception and a waiting lounge, feels like a cozy living room. With an open kitchen, library shelves, and a natural-toned reception desk, it’s a space that invites both clients and employees to relax and connect.
Inspired by the colors and textures of the desert, we wove in soft sand hues and earthy terracotta tones throughout the space. Each material was carefully chosen to support this natural theme: warm wood finishes feature in both the custom cabinetry and the parquet floors, while textures and shapes add layers of depth and interest. This harmonious blend of colors and materials brings warmth and elegance to every corner of the office, creating a truly inviting atmosphere.
The project’s greatest challenge? Completing the full renovation in just three and a half months, with only six weeks dedicated to actual construction. But thanks to detailed planning and precise execution, we successfully met our timeline and delivered a unique workspace that feels like home—a perfect blend of style, comfort, and functionality for Lustig Engineers.
