  • Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. is a civil engineering firm specializing in innovative and sustainable design solutions for clients, providing a full spectrum of services with a focus on environmental and economic sustainability. Shortly after transitioning to an employee-owned structure, Fuscoe seized the opportunity to start fresh, transitioning into a workspace that reflects its employee-owned culture and forward-thinking approach. The new 23,578 SF headquarters in Irvine embodies the firm’s ethos, combining creativity, collaboration, and innovation in a bright, airy, and welcoming environment.

The Hendy team transformed Fuscoe’s office into a hub of productivity and wellness. Prioritizing natural light, organic materials, and ergonomic furniture, the space is both functional and inspiring. Curved forms and earthy textures throughout the office echo the firm’s civil engineering expertise, with highlights such as a sculptural reception ceiling inspired by topography and aggregate stone finishes.

The layout encourages collaboration and flexibility, featuring zones tailored for team interaction and focused work. Technology-enabled meeting rooms and open workstations promote seamless hybrid workflows, while outdoor amenities like volleyball courts and a connected breakroom enhance employee well-being. Personalized workstations, coupled with thoughtful branding and design, foster a sense of ownership and pride among team members. By creating a space that balances comfort, creativity, and connection, Fuscoe’s new headquarters not only attracts talent but also energizes the team for the next chapter of their journey.
