PMG Group partnered with Holcim to design an innovative and sustainable workspace in Sydney, reflecting the company’s brand through use of its infinity logo, functional spaces, and sustainable design elements.
Holcim partnered with PMG Group to create a workspace that embodies innovation, sustainability, and modernity. This new office reflects Holcim’s evolving brand identity, reinforces its position as a leader in building innovation, and provides an efficient and engaging environment for employees.
A Workspace That Reflects Holcim’s Vision
Holcim’s key objective was to design a workplace that symbolises its forward-thinking ethos. The office integrates Holcim’s new infinity logo and colour palette, creating a branded environment that speaks to the company’s innovative spirit. The design also incorporates functional spaces tailored to support diverse work styles, from collaboration zones to focused work areas, ensuring it meets the needs of a modern workforce.Design Solutions Rooted in Innovation and Sustainability
PMG approached the project with a concept of ‘Fluid Motion’, inspired by the curves and continuous flow of Holcim’s infinity logo. This theme is expressed through subtle design elements, including curved forms, a gradation of colour, and dynamic material choices that create a cohesive visual identity throughout the space.Sustainability was a priority for Holcim, and PMG delivered by reusing existing furniture, partitions, and ceilings wherever possible. This approach minimised waste, reduced costs, and aligned with Holcim’s sustainability objectives.
A Destination Workplace That Fosters Connection
Holcim’s North Sydney office is more than just a workspace—it’s a destination designed to attract and inspire employees. Key features include:
- Maximised Views: Workstations, communal areas, and breakout spaces were strategically oriented to capture sweeping views, enhancing the working environment and employee satisfaction.
- Central Hubs: The staff kitchen and breakout areas act as focal points for social interaction and town hall meetings, fostering a strong sense of community.
- Team Connection: Collaboration zones encourage interaction and idea sharing, supporting teamwork and reinforcing Holcim’s commitment to innovation.
