  • The 35,000 square-foot office repositioning project at 1700 7th showcases the future of office by introducing hospitality-influenced amenities that promote health, wellness, and community to create meaningful experiences for tenants.

“Graciousness, ease of navigation, and connection to nature are the guiding ideals of the renovation,” says Brian Di Maggio, Studio Director at Gensler Seattle. “Each space underwent a complete reimagining, and update to craft environments that epitomize the future of the workplace.”

The most dramatic refresh is the 10th floor – now transformed into a dynamic co-working space that beckons socializing and fosters those magical moments of spontaneous collaboration only a well amenitized workplace can offer. Here, tenants from different floors converge, dine, connect, and ultimately forge the 10th floor into a coveted destination with panoramic views of the Seattle skyline.

1700 7th embodies sustainability and innovation, seamlessly integrating nature and wellness into its design with abundant green spaces and natural elements throughout. The complementing materials palette is a composition of oak casework and flooring, vertical wall panels, and unique lighting to highlight the experience in a modern, minimalist manner. Natural materials were chosen to honor the Pacific Northwest’s rich resources and the benefits of being surrounded by natural elements in the work environment.

From the completely revamped roof deck and new multipurpose clubhouse to flexible conference room partitions and phone pods, a coworking lounge with dining options, a luxury fitness center with locker room and commuter showers, and a sheltered bike storage facility, these diverse amenity offerings enhance collaborative moments while also providing opportunities for deep focus – both crucial in the redefinition of the workplace. 1700 7th has evolved into a desired location for employers and their employees in the heart of downtown Seattle.
