The Executive Centre Coworking Offices – Sydney
GroupGSA’s design for The Executive Centre Coworking Offices in Sydney redefines workspace elegance with its hospitality-inspired environment, blending innovation and sustainability in a visually striking, flexible layout within Grosvenor Place.
GroupGSA has delivered a hospitality-branded workspace for The Executive Centre (TEC) at Grosvenor Place, Sydney, blending luxury, innovation and sustainability while disrupting the traditional office leasing model.
TEC Grosvenor Place targets multinational corporations (MNCs) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking future-ready, flexible, hybrid workspaces within the Sydney CBD and Circular Quay precincts.
The project comprises 36 suites of varying sizes on Level 15 of the prominent Harry Seidler-designed building.
GroupGSA drew on the building’s architectural language to influence the fitout—paying homage to its Bauhaus, late Modernist sensibilities through clean lines, strong geometries and a restrained material palette.
The elliptical, ‘football-shaped’ floorplate and Seidler’s original column-free intent enable an organic flow that enhances the spatial experience. Meeting rooms were modelled in 3D to respond to the building’s unique geometry, ensuring no space was wasted and every angle celebrated Sydney’s iconic vistas.
Private suites range from 1 to 30+ capacity, with height-adjustable desks and Herman Miller chairs. Shared spaces include executive boardrooms, digital pods, private phone booths and a fully equipped podcast studio.
Taking cues from hotel design, GroupGSA employed strong forms, rhythmic repetition and material honesty, from warm walnut joinery to mosaic-style tiles, to create a space that feels authentic and enduring. The design incorporates locally sourced, sustainable materials and embraces reuse, repurposing key furniture pieces.
Custom lighting, curated art and subtle material transitions transform long hallways into engaging, human-centred journeys with moments of pause and delight.
Upon arrival, members are greeted by an elegant concierge area and the warm atmosphere of a humming café lounge, complete with a barista. A sculptural timber bar becomes a social anchor — tactile, welcoming and memorable.
The result is a workplace that feels more like a business lounge in a five-star hotel than a typical corporate breakout space.
