  • Creating an appealing environment to encourage productivity in in-person work was the main challenge for the architecture firm mw.arq | moema wertheimer in developing Edifício Brasil, one of the units of the bakery company Bimbo Brasil in the country. Located in São Paulo, the building received investments in technology, innovation, and accessibility, with construction carried out by Trezentos60.

The project includes offices, various meeting rooms, booths, an auditorium, and a café. The renovation transforms the image of the Mexican company in the international market. The unit now features a touch of brazilian identity, with colors and integrated vegetation enhancing the corporate environment.

Meeting rooms were designed to facilitate communication among employees in a hybrid format, offering videoconferencing tools, simplified scheduling, and informal open spaces that promote creative exchanges and strengthen teamwork.

The previously underused central arena was transformed into a gathering point for announcements and events, with a large videoconference screen, two palm trees, and several other plant species, creating an atmosphere that supports well-being.

Inside, acoustic panels and carpets help reduce noise during interactions. In rooms where privacy is essential, smart glass that shifts between transparent and opaque was used.

To highlight Bimbo’s identity, the firm opted for neutral and pastel tones – accentuating the blue and red found in the company’s branding.

Integration, innovation, and technology resulted in an immersive workspace that fosters productivity and creativity while renewing the company’s image in Brazil.
