Where Finance Meets Innovation: CAL’s New Headquarters Redefines the Modern Workplace
Credit card company CAL has recently moved into its striking new headquarters at the Phoenix Art Tower in Bnei Brak, unveiling a bold vision for the future of work environments. Spanning 13 floors and 20,000 square meters, the new offices offer a refined design narrative that embodies CAL’s unique dual identity: a stable, reliable financial institution on one hand, and a young, dynamic company that embraces agility and collaboration, echoing the spirit of the tech world.
The design concept draws directly from the company’s values, translated into a material and spatial language that feels warm, authentic, and contemporary. Natural wood, exposed concrete, soft textiles, and abundant greenery define both the shared and individual workspaces. The office floors are organized into smaller, intimate open-space clusters, each surrounded by a variety of meeting rooms. Custom-designed metal partitions, laser-cut in a networking-inspired pattern, provide structure while adding a distinctive graphic element.
Throughout the work areas, open collaborative zones encourage spontaneous interactions and agile workflows. Lighting design plays a starring role, with binary-like lines and dots tracing across the ceilings, while custom wall graphics in cafeterias and corridors bring the brand’s visual identity to life.
The public-facing lower floors house the main lobby—a seamless extension of the tower’s grand entrance. This space radiates innovation, featuring a futuristic geometric reception desk backed by a massive LED screen broadcasting CAL’s brand and content. Adjacent to the lobby, a large, transparent collaboration room stands as a powerful statement of the company’s commitment to openness and teamwork. A cozy, café-style lounge just off the lobby offers employees an inviting spot for informal meetings and coffee breaks.
On the first floor, CAL’s training center, activity room, and vibrant staff restaurant come together in a lively, youthful design. A large, landscaped terrace provides a welcome escape and a change of scenery. Cleverly, the dining space can be opened up to connect with the training area, transforming into an impressive venue for conferences, lectures, and events.
CAL’s new headquarters is a masterclass in thoughtful, future-forward workplace design—where functionality, creativity, and a human touch converge to create a place that’s as inspiring as it is efficient
