Besox and Books & Balance enlisted our help for both the design and coordination of their new offices in Knokke. The social secretariat, banking and insurance departments all housed under the same roof as the accounting office moved to the new building project ‘Brink office’ along the Natiënlaan.

    Flexibility and Industrial Character
The office building utilizes a raised floor with floor boxes for optimal flexibility. For the technical aspects, climate islands were used on the ceiling in which the basic lighting was integrated. In the corridor areas, ventilation ducts and cable trays were deliberately left visible, creating an industrial character.

    Common Areas and Unique Eye-catchers
To create a sense of unity, shared meeting rooms, a spacious lunch area, an auditorium, and relaxation zones were designed. The challenge was to maintain the same look & feel throughout the offices while simultaneously aligning everything with the diverse corporate identities.

Some eye-catchers in the project: the nearly 4m long lighting fixture in the void at the entrance, the fitness room or as the client calls it the ‘Pain Cave’, the large lunch area with billiards, and the adjacent terrace with bar.
