Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Offices – Ho Chi Minh City
The Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam offices in Ho Chi Minh City were conceptualized and transformed into a narrative-rich environment that embodies the organization’s culture of innovation and sustainability by AZ Architects.
Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam (SPVB) embodies the fusion of Japanese spirit—profound and resolute—and the vibrant energy of American innovation. More than a beloved beverage producer, SPVB is a dynamic organization guided by the mission “Grow for Good”—growing not only for profit, but for people, communities, and the planet.
At SPVB, every individual carries within them the philosophy of Yatte Minahare—to dream big, to embrace challenges, and to never give up. This spirit is not only reflected in their products, but also deeply embedded in their workplace. The new SPVB office at Opal Tower, designed and built by AZ Architects and completed in 2025, transforms space into an extension of corporate culture.
Spanning over 462 square meters, the office is divided into four main functional zones: a welcoming lounge where impressions are shaped, a fixed desk working area designed for focus and creativity, a flexible meeting suite where ideas flow and grow, and supportive spaces that balance performance and well-being. But more than functionality, the design speaks in symbols—it is a living, breathing narrative.
From the very entrance, SPVB’s signature blue blends with a bold architectural gesture: a sweeping black ribbon stretching across the ceiling. This fluid curve gently guides the eye while symbolizing the uninterrupted flow of energy and progress—a visual metaphor for SPVB’s spirit of sustainable and continuous innovation.
The design language throughout celebrates soft, wave-like movement: from the curved bench seating in the waiting lounge to glass decals that mimic the rhythm of flowing water. These elements are not mere aesthetics—they are the visual dialect of a dynamic organization that moves forward while staying true to its identity.
Each meeting room is crafted with a distinct personality, named and themed after SPVB’s iconic products like Rockstar, Sting, and Goodmood. These rooms are more than functional spaces—they are creative environments that bring the brand closer to its people, embedding inspiration into everyday collaboration.
Floor-to-ceiling glass walls embrace the entire office, offering openness and visual connection to the outside world. Greenery is carefully interwoven throughout the space—not just to soothe the senses, but as a vital pulse within the design. Under natural light, every leaf and every shadow becomes part of a quiet visual symphony, adding depth and softness to the architectural rhythm.
With this project, AZ did not simply create a place to work—we created a living pulse. A space where every architectural detail carries emotional and cultural meaning; where every design decision tells a story; and where every individual is inspired to continue the journey to “Grow for Good.”
