Puma Offices – Buenos Aires
Contract Workplaces transformed the Puma offices in Buenos Aires into a dynamic, collaborative environment that embodies the brand’s culture and promotes employee well-being through innovative design and engaging spaces.
Puma Argentina continues its growth with the renovation of its office building in Pilar, a district in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area that offers strong accessibility and an improved quality of life for employees.
For the comprehensive redesign of its headquarters, Puma entrusted Contract Workplaces with the task of transforming the space into a true reflection of its brand culture, aligned with the Forever Faster campaign. The goal was to create an experience connected to the company’s values, redefine work methodologies, and promote a more collaborative, agile, and attractive organizational culture.
The main challenge was to adapt an existing building to new work models without major structural changes. The proposal sought to integrate collaborative, operational, and social areas, creating fluid transitions between them and focusing on the client’s real needs. By analyzing the limitations of their previous offices, the team developed a superior solution aligned with more flexible, people-centered, and collaborative work paradigms.
Architectural Design
The 1,600 m² project was based on three core principles:
1. Motivating through color and materials
2. Conveying movement and dynamism through an innovative layout
3. Evoking the brand’s heritage and essence with identity-driven design gestures
The layout aimed to blur traditional boundaries between spaces, connecting collaborative and recreational areas through a central feature: the Town Hall. Located on the ground floor and open to the outdoors, this multifunctional space is equipped with technology for institutional presentations and hybrid meetings. It connects directly to the dining area and outdoor patio, fostering interaction.
This level also includes an operational area designed to offer flexibility without sacrificing privacy or focus. The upper floors were organized according to functional needs: workstations follow the curved façade perimeter, while meeting rooms and day-use offices are placed near the service core. Each level features a coffee point and collaborative zones for socializing, relaxation, and teamwork, separated from workstations by phone booth volumes that also provide acoustic privacy.
The third floor includes the boardroom and CEO’s office, designed to welcome visitors and reflect a strong institutional image. Restrooms were fully renovated, eliminating gender divisions and incorporating individual stalls—freeing up space for storage and other operational needs.
Materials, Art, and Technology
A wide color palette creates stimulating environments. Enclosed areas feature varied tones to evoke positive emotions and define character, while more neutral hues were used in institutional spaces like reception and the Town Hall to highlight brand elements.
Textures and finishes reflect Puma’s sporty, urban spirit. Graphics—based on the brand manual—were reinterpreted to create a unique identity. Rather than replicating retail imagery, a more contextual and subtle approach was applied to enrich the space.
The Town Hall’s video wall allows high-impact visual communication and reinforces the brand message. Meeting rooms are equipped with video conferencing systems and plug & play technology for seamless hybrid collaboration.
Sustainability and Well-being
The design promotes employee well-being through natural light, outdoor views, effective ventilation, and acoustic comfort—especially in enclosed and focus areas—fostering a healthier, more sustainable work environment that authentically reflects the Forever Faster culture.
