Cooper Carry’s redesign of the Sompo International offices in Alpharetta transforms the workspace into a biophilic, flexible environment that fosters collaboration and reflects the company’s evolving brand identity.
Sompo, a global insurance provider, partnered with Cooper Carry to reimagine its Atlanta office as a forward-thinking workplace that reflects the company’s evolving brand and supports its people. Our design approach centered on creating a modern and welcoming environment that promotes flexibility, collaboration, and overall well-being.
We used a warm, natural palette and integrated greenery throughout the space to evoke a calming, biophilic experience. Brand colors were reinterpreted as sophisticated, toned-down hues that fully integrate into the materials to reinforce the identity without overwhelming the design. A vibrant café and lounge serve as the social and functional heart of the office, with adjacent quiet and game rooms offering employees places to relax and recharge. Two satellite coffee bars and refreshed balconies further support connection, casual interaction, and bring more of the outdoors in.
Sustainability was woven into every decision, from the green wall to low-emission flooring and eco-conscious wallcoverings. The result is a vibrant, wellness-forward space that balances aesthetic quality with long-term environmental responsibility.
Delivered on a fast-tracked schedule, this project now serves as inspiration for Sompo’s future workplaces.
