Fyra’s Noren offices in Helsinki seamlessly blend historic charm with contemporary clarity, creating a timeless workspace that reflects the firm’s human-centric ethos and supports diverse working styles.
For the new office of Noren, a strategic consulting firm at the intersection of humanities and business, the ambition was to design a workplace that feels timeless and deeply human. Through an efficient design process, the space feels authentic and approachable, complemented by carefully selected artworks.
Set within a historic building, the design pays homage to the original architecture while bringing in a contemporary clarity. For Noren, whose work is rooted in people and their perspective, the office is a place of care. Every detail is considered to serve its users, from generous storage for a rich collection of study materials to spatial solutions that support different ways of working. Workshops and interviews are a crucial part of Noren’s way of working, which was taken into careful consideration when designing the spaces for both live and hybrid working. Calm tones and timeless materials contribute to a welcoming and effortless ambience.
The outcome is an inviting and characterful environment: a workplace that feels genuine, reliable, and enduring.
