  • The new BASF office in Kyiv, designed by MEYT, occupies 1,222 m² and was created as a calm, functional environment where sustainability and precision define every detail. The space reflects the company’s values — innovation, responsibility, and connection between people and nature.

Natural materials such as wood, concrete, and textile set a balanced tone throughout. The palette remains neutral and soft, with greenery used as both decoration and zoning element. Plants are integrated into partitions and furniture, improving acoustics and adding a sense of comfort without overwhelming the visual composition.

The layout combines open work areas with enclosed spaces for meetings and focus work. The open space is divided by planters and acoustic panels that provide visual rhythm and sound control. Several meeting rooms of different sizes support flexible collaboration, while quiet rooms allow for concentration and privacy.

The reception area is simple and functional — clean lines, warm wood surfaces, and controlled lighting form a professional but welcoming first impression. The conference rooms are equipped with contemporary audio systems and acoustic ceilings that maintain clarity and comfort.

The kitchen and lounge area serve as a social center of the office. Wooden partitions allow the space to open or close depending on the format — from daily breaks to team events. Materials are practical and durable, while the lighting maintains a domestic warmth without losing focus on usability.

Circulation routes are clear and logical, ensuring easy navigation and natural light distribution. The color accents reference BASF’s corporate palette, used subtly in textiles and graphics. The local context is expressed through small decorative details and artwork from Ukrainian designers, adding authenticity without overstating it.

The result is an efficient workspace with a clear hierarchy of functions and atmosphere of quiet confidence. Every element — from the arrangement of furniture to the choice of materials — supports productivity and well-being, showing that an office can be both precise and human.
