ADD designed the KENGIC Intelligent Technology Offices in Qingdao, harmonizing modern minimalism with high-tech vibrancy to create dynamic spaces that foster innovation and elevate employee collaboration.
KENGIC Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. is an intelligent logistics and intelligent manufacturing system solution provider with its own core technologies and products. The design of its new office building aligns with the company’s dual objectives: fostering a superior working environment for its staff and accelerating innovation to deliver premium customer service and product quality.
The entrance lobby of the new office building employs a modern minimalist design, utilizing a high-ceilinged, expansive open space that creates a sense of grandeur. The space is primarily illuminated by abundant natural light streaming through massive floor-to-ceiling windows.
The open-plan collaboration and lounge area is defined by warm tones, primarily established by light wood-veneer walls. The ceiling is an exposed structure where the lighting serves as a focal point, featuring unique, large, wave-shaped pendant lights complemented by recessed circular flat-panel lights to create a soft ambiance. The space is symmetrically furnished with curved modular sofas. These are interspersed with small white Candy tables and Lite Layer chairs, providing a flexible and comfortable setting for informal meetings or breaks.
Another open-plan lounge area features a bold design dominated by vibrant colors and geometric elements. The key feature is the suspended orange metal mesh ceiling panel, which integrates modern circular pendant lights, creating a strong visual focal point. The space is bordered by a series of tall, vertical windows that flood the area with ample natural light. The grey modular curved sofa is paired with an orange screen, orange chairs, and a small white round table, creating a vibrant and casual space for collaboration and relaxation.
This office space is smartly designed to integrate an open-plan workstation area with an informal break zone. The informal area is delineated by warm-toned light wood-veneer walls and connected to the main workspace via continuous light gray matte tile flooring. ARC workstations neatly arranged with MK ergonomic chairs in orderly rows, while the adjacent break area is furnished with groups of white circular tables and casual chairs, promoting flexible interaction and relaxation.
Both the executive boardroom and the private office share a modern, minimalist, and expansive aesthetic. The boardroom features a full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, offering abundant natural light. Dominating the center is a massive conference table, surrounded by leather Cosy chairs. Executive offices offer a softer, more intimate design. Deban executive desks and a lounge area comprised of a curved fabric sofa and leather lounge chairs, create a restrained yet luxurious professional environment.
The design style of the new KENGIC office seamlessly blends modern minimalism with a sense of high-tech vibrancy. This new office is a physical manifestation of KENGIC’s vision for innovation.
