Solventa Offices – Bogota
Contract Workplaces designed the Solventa Offices in Bogotá to reflect the company’s modern identity, seamlessly integrating functional workspaces with collaborative areas and wellness amenities in a vibrant, employee-centered environment.
Solventa, a financial services company, relocated its offices in Bogotá to support the growth of its local operations. The new space was designed to accommodate 120 employees while reflecting the company’s dynamic and modern identity, combining functionality, well-being, and aesthetics aligned with its brand values.
The project was executed by Contract Workplaces under a turnkey model, covering 485 m² and completed in just 62 days. The main challenge was to maximize workstation density without compromising comfort, while integrating collaborative areas, breakout spaces, and private offices within a limited floorplate.
The spatial strategy was organized around a central core that houses meeting rooms and private offices, freeing the perimeter for the open-plan workspace and relaxation zones. This layout enhances spatial efficiency, promotes natural light penetration, and provides views of the surrounding city, improving environmental quality and employee well-being.
The office includes communal areas such as a game room and lounge spaces that encourage informal interaction and foster team connection. Additionally, the building’s gym and swimming pool complement the work environment, promoting a healthier lifestyle.
A color palette inspired by Solventa’s visual identity—featuring purple, blue, and gray tones—defines different zones and reinforces brand personality. The vinyl flooring varies by use: wood-look finishes for circulation areas, light gray for the open workspace and break zones, and dark gray for meeting rooms and enclosed offices, creating a clear visual distinction across the floorplan.
Ceiling design also contributes to the overall character. An exposed slab finish in the open space reinforces the contemporary aesthetic, while smooth white drywall ceilings in enclosed rooms improve acoustics and provide greater privacy. In addition, suspended acoustic panels were installed in key areas to mitigate ambient noise while adding a touch of visual rhythm.
Lighting plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere. Recessed linear profiles and wall-mounted fixtures are combined with decorative pendant lamps in lounge areas and meeting rooms to create a warm yet sophisticated ambience.
Finally, glass fronts in meeting rooms and private offices promote visual transparency without sacrificing enclosure, maintaining an overall sense of openness and brightness throughout the workspace.
The new Solventa Colombia offices exemplify how corporate architecture can enhance operational efficiency while investing in employee well-being—a strategic move to attract and retain talent in a competitive market.
