Pope Design Group Offices – St. Paul
Pope Design Group’s new offices in St. Paul showcase a flexible, collaborative workspace with minimalist design elements, fostering connectivity and creativity while supporting the firm’s growth and hybrid work culture.
When the company’s lease was expiring, Pope Design Group took the opportunity to undergo a brand refresh and relocate to better support growth and working styles. The overarching goal behind the new office environment was to improve cross-team connectivity, maximize collaborative and focused work options, and develop flexible workstations to support staffing growth and hybrid work models.
To promote the goal of making sure that everyone can work anywhere, all employees sit at benching solution desks with the option to work in the ample focus and collaboration spaces. All spaces feature Wi-Fi connectivity and simplified plug-and-play technology.
The new space features a cohesive, open office with large and small conference rooms, phone rooms, break-out areas, and a large kitchen and café. A minimalist design approach with limited materials, restrained neutral color palette paired with salt and pepper grind concrete floors, white oak rift-cut wall coverings, exposed ceilings and skylights creates a calming setting.
Artwork, furniture and fun brand elements support the company’s people-centric culture. Curated employee art, like pottery, weaving and painting pieces, add personality to each space. An employee pet art wall frames the café garage door that opens onto an outdoor patio, where all can work, play bocce ball, or host events.
The building’s location near public transportation options, including the Metro Green Line light rail and major bus routes, along with its access to major freeway interchanges, provides options and a more centralized commute for many employees and visitors. In addition, nearby retail and dining options, gated employee parking, and on-site bicycle lockers offer elevated convenience and security.
