SoftwareOne Offices – Sao Paulo
Space Plan’s design for the SoftwareOne offices in São Paulo harmoniously blends the surrounding landscape with innovative spaces, promoting well-being and collaboration throughout the headquarters’ dynamic interior.
Strengthening relationships and translating the company’s innovative identity were the guiding principles behind Space Plan’s project for the new Software One headquarters in Alphaville. Conceived to promote well-being and create fluid pathways, the office takes the surrounding landscape as its starting point, incorporating the mountain view as a central element in spatial organization and in the everyday experience of employees.
During the initial site visit, the privileged view stood out as a rare opportunity within the dense urban fabric of the area. To highlight this asset, Space Plan preserved the largest possible portion of the façade, organizing the office circulation along a diagonal axis that leads employees and visitors directly to the landscape.
The large window was transformed into a collaborative terrace equipped with sofas, armchairs and mobile TVs, creating a space for gathering, work and pause. Soft blue tones on walls and ceiling reinforce continuity with the sky, turning the area into a natural transition between indoors and outdoors.
Enclosed rooms were placed on the opposite façade, where there are no windows, ensuring privacy and improved acoustic performance without compromising the sense of openness. Glass partitions maintain visual fluidity, while vibrant carpet colors and customized furniture help structure the program and reflect the energy of the brand.
Originally discreet and without a reception area, the office entrance was redesigned as a scenographic environment. Mirror cladding on walls and ceiling, combined with LED lines, creates an immersive and expansive space nicknamed the “metaverse.” The area invites visitors and employees to interact and take photos, communicating the company’s innovative identity in a playful way, without relying on traditional branding solutions.
The program also includes a spacious funplace—conceived as a multifunctional area for dining, socializing and events—along with a flexible room featuring a podcast studio, a boardroom, collaborative creation zones and rotating workstations for up to 30 people.
The company’s recently updated brand manual, which highlights the circle as a central symbol represented by the “O” in the logo, guided two key formal decisions: the circular boardroom and the collaborative table with a built-in planter at the entrance. These elements reinforce the company’s identity and create focal moments throughout the space.
The project is completed with vibrant landscaping throughout the environments, neatly organized exposed infrastructure and colorful custom millwork. Together, these elements create a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere aligned with Software One’s contemporary and innovative culture.
