RSM Offices – Auckland
Cachet Group’s RSM offices in Auckland harnesses modern design to foster connection and collaboration, creating a refined workspace that enhances client service and reinforces the firm’s professional identity in the CBD.
A central city workspace designed for connection, visibility, and client service.
With a growing presence across New Zealand, RSM sought to unite its Auckland team in a single central city location. The move reflects a shift toward greater visibility in the CBD and a more connected way of working – bringing people together while positioning the firm closer to the clients they serve.
The new 670sqm workplace, developed in partnership with Invesco, is located at 125 Queen Street – a prominent address that reinforces RSM’s professional presence and improves accessibility for both staff and clients. The brief was clear: create a workspace that strengthens collaboration across the business while reflecting the credibility and professionalism of a global audit, tax, and consulting firm.
Cachet worked alongside RSM as a trusted advisor throughout the design and delivery process, guiding the project from early planning through to completion. The resulting layout is clear and functional, with work zones that support focused tasks, group discussion, and moments of quiet. Refined detailing and a restrained material palette contribute to a calm, consistent environment suited to everyday professional practice.
Front-of-house spaces balance confidence with approachability, providing clients with a welcoming and assured arrival experience. A large boardroom with an operable wall allows the space to adapt for client meetings, workshops, and internal events. A generous town hall area supports full-team gatherings, training sessions, and celebrations, while acoustic separation minimises disruption to back-of-house areas. Glazed partitions maintain visibility and connection across the floorplate.
Front-facing areas take advantage of expansive views across central Auckland, reinforcing a strong local identity and sense of place. Throughout the open-plan workspace, smaller rooms provide partners and staff with access to private spaces for calls, concentrated work, or small-group collaboration – ensuring privacy is available to all.
Storage, lighting, and technology integration are planned for daily use, with simple circulation paths that reduce unnecessary movement across the floor. Furniture selection prioritises comfort, posture, and longevity, supporting a workplace designed to adapt as the team continues to grow.
The outcome is a workplace that supports RSM’s focus on professionalism, teamwork, and client service – strengthening connection across the business while providing a reliable, well-considered setting for staff and clients alike.
