Oktra’s Faegre Drinker offices in London masterfully harmonize functionality and elegance, creating a sophisticated space that embodies the firm’s unified identity while showcasing breathtaking views of St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Following the merger of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and Drinker Biddle & Reath, the newly expanded firm seized the opportunity to relocate to a brand-new workspace. This move was not just about accommodating their growing team but also about establishing a unified identity in a space that aligns with their evolving needs.
The project centred around creating a highly functional and professional environment. The front-of-house facilities were designed to include a formal boardroom, a multifunctional meeting room for training and seminars, and a series of cellular offices tailored for single or shared occupancy. A teapoint and a dedicated social space were positioned to take full advantage of the 18th floor’s breathtaking views of St. Paul’s Cathedral, offering employees and visitors an inspiring backdrop to their day.
The new office presented unique design challenges, with exposed services and an irregular floorplate requiring significant adaptation. Ceiling rafts and plates were meticulously repositioned or installed to achieve a polished finish that complemented the open, industrial aesthetic of the space.
By blending functional design with high-end finishes, Faegre Drinker’s new office is a reflection of their professionalism and global stature. The carefully curated layout, coupled with state-of-the-art facilities, ensures a workplace that supports their daily operations while providing a sophisticated environment for client engagement.
