CREATE+CO revitalized Archer Western offices in Tampa, harmoniously merging contemporary design with historic Ybor City elements to foster collaboration, focus, and a deep connection to the neighborhood’s heritage.
CREATE+CO redesigned Archer Western’s Tampa office to bring new life to a historic Ybor City building, blending contemporary function with character-rich architectural elements. The result is a workplace that supports focused work, team collaboration, and training while honoring the grit, craft, and heritage of its surrounding neighborhood.
Stepping inside, visitors are greeted by a lobby that pairs restored historic details with modern finishes and furniture. Warm wood floors, deep navy trim, and sculptural lighting set the tone for a space that feels confident and grounded. A custom signage wall and tailored seating welcome guests while reflecting the company’s identity.
The training room is designed for flexibility and clarity. Acoustic ceiling baffles, layered lighting, and clean sightlines create an environment that supports presentations, workshops, and large team gatherings. A fully integrated kitchenette anchors the back wall with rich wood cabinetry and bold green backsplash tile, adding warmth and personality to the space.
Conference rooms offer a more refined, polished setting. Each space features custom wallcoverings, warm leather seating, and long collaborative tables that support both in-person and virtual meetings. Exposed columns and glass partitions preserve the building’s character while allowing natural light to filter throughout the workspace.
The open office area feels bright and energized, defined by geometric wall treatments, clean workstation layouts, and integrated planters that introduce texture and greenery. Circulation paths are intuitive, creating an easy flow between public and private zones.
The break room introduces a residential touch with deep green cabinetry, textured black tile, open shelving, and a durable stone countertop. Herringbone flooring adds movement while tying the space back to the building’s historic charm.
Restrooms were reimagined with dramatic contrast and pattern. Glossy black herringbone tile, crisp quartz, warm wood tones, and patterned flooring come together to create an unexpectedly elevated and modern experience.
Throughout the office, CREATE+CO focused on blending new and old, pairing contemporary materials with the existing architectural framework. The redesigned environment supports Archer Western’s collaborative culture while offering employees a workplace that feels crafted, intentional, and connected to Ybor’s unique sense of place.
