ID Studios, Inc. designed the Meals on Wheels office in San Diego to unite workspace and kitchen areas through biophilic principles, fostering community, creativity, and well-being in a holistic environment.
The space for Meals on Wheels San Diego combined their offices and main commercial kitchen into one location and aims to create a harmonious environment that fosters well-being and creativity in a holistic and people-centric design. Biophilic design principles are incorporated, with abundant natural lighting and organic shapes, creating a connection to nature. The design encourages a sense of purpose, promotes a strong sense of community, and underscores the organization’s commitment to giving back to the community and its employees.
