Lipton Teas and Infusions Global Services Hub – Katowice
Workplace’s Lipton Teas and Infusions Global Services Hub in Katowice embodies a vibrant design narrative, seamlessly merging brand identity with contemporary workspace trends to inspire energy and collaboration.
The second chapter of our collaboration with Lipton
This is our second workplace project for the Lipton brand. The first one, delivered in Warsaw, was created at a time when Liptonâs identity was still strongly rooted in the world of tea production, nature and origin. The brand narrative focused on earth, leaves, and the ritual of brewing.
When we started working on the Lipton Teas and Infusions Global Services Hub in Katowice, the brand was already in the middle of a significant transformation. Lipton had evolved from a classic Teas & Infusions company into a more playful, lifestyle-oriented brand, speaking directly to younger generations and expanding its portfolio towards cold, refreshing and flavour-driven beverages.
This shift became the starting point for the new design concept.
From tea leaves to sunrise energy
Office in Katowice was designed based on our proprietary Brand Sunrise concept. Inspired by the moment when the day begins, the interior uses the metaphor of the sunrise as a source of energy, colour and rhythm.
At the heart of the office, a central Lipton bar acts like the sun itself â a focal point from which colours, moods and social energy radiate throughout the space. Just like Liptonâs infusions, the interior blends different âintensitiesâ: from vibrant, expressive areas to calmer, more focused zones.
Design inspired by infusions, flavours and light
The visual language draws directly from:
– the tea brewing process â gradients, transparency, layering
– flavours and colours associated with both hot and cold Lipton beverages
– biophilic elements, soft curves and natural textures.
Shared and social areas intentionally feature higher design intensity: stronger colours, bold forms and playful details that encourage interaction and informal meetings. Individual workspaces gradually calm the atmosphere, offering more neutral palettes and acoustic comfort.
This deliberate zoning allows employees to choose their own energy level during the day â from focus to collaboration and regeneration.
Design Language: Infusion as space
The Brand Sunrise strategy was translated into design through a clear material and colour language based on infusion rather than contrast.
Instead of sharp transitions and isolated brand accents, we designed the interior as a sequence of gradual changes in colour, texture and atmosphere. Light, calm tones form the base layer of the space, gradually evolving into saturated yellows, warm oranges and earthy reds â reflecting the process of brewing, where intensity builds over time.
Materials were selected to reinforce this narrative: soft textiles, matte finishes and tactile surfaces replace hard contrasts and glossy effects. Gradients appear not only on walls, but extend into furniture, ceilings and lighting, allowing colour and material to flow naturally across the space.
Patterns and curves play a functional role rather than a decorative one. They guide movement, define zones without rigid boundaries and visually express the changing energy of the workplace throughout the day â from focus and concentration to collaboration and regeneration.
Through this approach, design becomes an integral part of the Brand Sunrise concept: a spatial interpretation of Liptonâs shift from product-focused communication to a lifestyle-driven brand, built around energy, diversity and conscious choice.
A workplace for a new generation
Designed for a team of nearly 200 employees, the Katowice hub reflects contemporary workplace trends: human-centric planning, flexibility and a strong connection between brand, culture and everyday work experience.
Brand Sunrise is not just an office â it is a spatial interpretation of Liptonâs new identity: optimistic, fresh, expressive and full of energy, just like the brand itself.
