  • For ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola, this project was not simply about renovating a building that is more than 30 years old. It was about rethinking how people work together in a company that has been part of Thai life for generations.

HA Design worked closely with ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola’s leadership as part of the core stakeholder team, with the aim of creating a workplace that feels welcoming, active, and worth coming back to. The process began by reorganizing departments and programs across all 10 floors to better reflect how teams operate today.

Happiness Journey became the guiding design idea. The office reflects the role ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola plays in daily life, bringing moments of happiness through its products. This narrative begins at the lobby, where stacked bottle crates—visible from outside—form the iconic Coca-Cola ribbon and clearly express the brand from the first glance.

The design also draws inspiration from the meaning of the company’s name, “water.” Characteristics such as wobbling, dimpling, flowing, and waving are translated into architectural elements throughout the building, from ceiling features in the lobby and lift lobbies to meeting rooms. Beyond form, water plays a practical role in daily work life, with Coca-Cola beverages and drinking water available within a short walk from anywhere in the office.

On the general office floors, the design opens up what was previously a dark, enclosed workspace to views of the adjacent golf course. Daylight is brought deeper into the floor through a reworked layout that balances comfort and heat control. Workstations sit away from direct sun, while collaboration spaces move closer to the windows.

The 8th floor serves as the building’s central meeting and event level, housing 16 meeting rooms including a boardroom and an auditorium. Three larger rooms can be combined for town halls and company-wide events. An oversized Coca-Cola bottle sliced in half is reimagined as a feature wall near the executive dining room, referencing the company’s history.

The 9th floor is dedicated to recreation, with game areas and an open courtyard that brings in fresh air. These spaces reflect the company’s investment in everyday well-being and informal connection across teams.

Executive offices are located on the top, 11th floor. Rather than focusing on luxury or scale, the design prioritizes transparency and approachability. The floor is also enriched by the chairman’s personal art collection, gathered from travels around the world.

Together, the workplace reflects ThaiNamthip Coca-Cola’s role in everyday Thai life—supporting how people work, meet, and share moments each day.
