Windyty Offices – Prague
Unlimit DB’s Windyty Offices in Prague masterfully blends natural elements and weather-inspired design, creating an immersive workspace that fosters creativity and sustainability within a dynamic 220-square-meter environment.
Windyty is a Czech IT company focused on developing the unique Windy application, which provides interactive weather forecasts. The app and service are widely used by pilots, sailors, surfers, windsurfers, kiteboarders, and other outdoor enthusiasts who rely on precise wind and weather data.
The interior concept draws inspiration from natural elements and weather phenomena. The carpet, inspired by cracked earth, evokes a dry landscape just before rainfall, raw, authentic, and grounded. Its texture creates a subtle connection to nature, as if standing at the edge of a deep forest.
That forest atmosphere is brought to life through greenery, which plays a central role in the space. Moss, stabilized plants, numerous planters, and a canopy formed by wooden slats create the impression of a forest organically growing through the interior. Greenery here is not mere decoration, but an essential element of the working environment.
Linear light fixtures cut through the space like flashes of lightning, sharp, dynamic, and full of energy. Angular wooden slats, rhythmically combined with lines of light, evoke the tension and movement of a stormy sky.
Strong emphasis was placed on ESG principles in the selection of materials, including carpets with a carbon neutral footprint, ensuring that sustainability is embedded in the design concept.
All of these elements were thoughtfully integrated into a workspace of just 220 square meters, demonstrating how design, atmosphere, and functionality can come together to create an inspiring and highly efficient working environment.
