  • KPMG Meijburg & Co, a leading tax advisory and accounting firm within the international KPMG network, traditionally worked from an office concept with many individual, enclosed spaces. While this setup promoted focus and confidentiality, it left little room for spontaneous encounters between colleagues. To change this, Rever Workplace Innovators designed and created central meeting areas that actively encourage connection and collaboration.

Spread across five floors, no less than 565 m² were transformed into strategically placed community hubs. These meeting places are centrally located in the building and form natural hubs within the daily route.

The design seamlessly aligns with the organic architecture of the building. Round elements in pantries, bars, and furniture soften the formal lines of the office. Botanical wallpaper and rich planting bring a fresh, natural atmosphere inside, while the use of materials such as brass, marble, and velvet creates a refined, representative appearance. The subtle combination of blue and copper tones elegantly refers to the financial sector and creates a balanced and contemporary color palette.

In these community hubs, conversations arise naturally, ideas are exchanged at the bar, and the playful character of the puzzle tables invites low-threshold interaction. By implementing the same spatial identity on all five floors, meeting and collaboration are no longer an exception, but have become a natural part of every working day.

The result is an inspiring and future-proof working environment where people like to come together – an environment where both professionalism and connection are central.
