Scalapay Offices – Milan
Parella Group’s Scalapay offices in Milan creatively integrates flexible workspaces with sustainable design, fostering employee well-being and collaboration in a modern, eco-conscious environment that adapts to hybrid work dynamics.
The objective was clear: to design a modern and flexible headquarters that enhances employee well-being, integrates sustainable solutions, and adapts seamlessly to new hybrid ways of working.
Agilité – a Parella company – was appointed to deliver the fit-out of Scalapay’s new Milan headquarters, an ambitious project centered on flexibility, performance, and environmental responsibility. The result is a contemporary workplace that meets the highest standards in design, acoustics, and energy efficiency while supporting the company’s rapid growth.
Designing for Hybrid Work
Spanning 1,500 sqm, the project introduces flexible and collaborative workspaces tailored to evolving work patterns. The layout balances open work areas with meeting rooms, focus spaces, and informal collaboration zones, creating an environment that supports both individual concentration and team interaction.
The design anticipates the fluid nature of hybrid work, offering adaptable settings that allow employees to choose how and where they work throughout the day. Spatial clarity and intuitive circulation ensure a seamless user experience across the office.
A Modern and Sustainable Vision
Developed in collaboration with DWA Design Studio, the interior concept reflects a modern aesthetic combined with sustainable performance. Clean architectural lines, carefully selected materials, and a refined palette contribute to a professional yet welcoming atmosphere.
Advanced acoustic solutions were integrated throughout the space to ensure optimal comfort. From sound-absorbing materials to carefully engineered partitions, every element was designed to create a balanced acoustic environment — essential in flexible and open-plan workplaces.
Energy performance was another key pillar of the project. High-efficiency technical systems were implemented in line with LEED and WELL standards, reinforcing Scalapay’s commitment to environmental responsibility and employee health. The use of eco-conscious materials further minimized the project’s environmental footprint while enhancing indoor air quality and overall comfort.
Rigorous Project Management and Coordination
A strong emphasis was placed on structured project management and seamless coordination between all stakeholders. Through continuous communication and careful oversight of planning, budget, and quality, Agilité ensured smooth collaboration between design teams, consultants, and contractors.
This rigorous approach enabled the project to be delivered on schedule while maintaining high standards of execution and performance.
