Whyte Just Moore Lawyers Offices – Geelong
Paramount Commercial Interiors transformed the Whyte Just Moore Lawyers Offices in Geelong into a sophisticated 652sqm workspace that balances professionalism and warmth, enhancing functionality and client engagement within a refined environment.
For Whyte Just & Moore Lawyers, Paramount Commercial Interiors delivered a workplace that blends professionalism with warmth, creating a modern legal environment that is both highly functional and visually refined. Designed to support the daily demands of a busy legal practice, the new fitout provides a considered balance between focused work, collaboration, client engagement, and the privacy required within a professional services setting.
Located on Level 2 of 100 Brougham in Geelong, the workplace takes advantage of its elevated position and outlook across Corio Bay. The partners of Whyte Just & Moore Law Firm engaged Paramount to assess the feasibility of transforming an empty floor into a sophisticated new office environment. Through extensive planning, budgeting, design coordination, and a carefully managed 8-week construction program, the result is a polished 652sqm workplace that now gives WJM a strong, contemporary base for its team and clients.
The completed fitout includes four meeting rooms, a spacious reception area, 18 large workstations, nine individual offices, a retreat area, print station, library, kitchenette, refresh point, and well-considered storage solutions throughout. Each space was planned with purpose, ensuring the office works efficiently for staff while also creating a calm and confident experience for visitors from the moment they arrive.
A key part of the project’s success lies in its material palette. Full-height joinery in beautiful Boston oak brings warmth, depth, and consistency across the tenancy, while glass walls and clean architectural lines maintain a sense of openness and connection. Natural timbers are paired with luxurious black trims, marble benchtops, feature pendants, and Australian-made furniture to create a refined workplace that feels professional without becoming cold or overly formal.
Acoustic performance was also an important consideration. In a legal environment, privacy and discretion are essential, so high acoustic ratings were incorporated to support confidential discussions, focused work, and client meetings. This attention to detail ensures the workplace not only looks impressive but performs to the standard required by a modern law firm.
The reception and meeting areas were designed to create a strong first impression, combining elegance with approachability. Beyond the client-facing zones, the work areas provide staff with practical, comfortable, and well-equipped spaces that support productivity and collaboration. The inclusion of retreat areas and shared amenities also helps create a workplace that feels welcoming and usable throughout the day.
The finished WJM Lawyers fitout reflects the firm’s established reputation while positioning it confidently for the future. It is a workplace that feels measured, professional, and considered, with every detail contributing to a sense of quality and permanence.
