NICE DESIGN & INTERIOR CO. redefined the Hilti Vietnam Offices in Ho Chi Minh City, blending an industrial aesthetic with functional design to enhance operational efficiency and employee well-being.
The Hilti Vietnam Office in Ho Chi Minh City translates a corporate identity rooted in engineering precision and technical rigor into a high-performing workplace that balances operational efficiency with employee well-being.
Located in Tan Dinh Ward, District 1, the project houses the regional operations for Hilti, a Liechtenstein-based global provider of technology solutions, software, and services for the professional construction industry. The design brief required a workplace that reflects the brand’s technical character and professional standards while maintaining a refined, functional, and comfortable environment for daily operations. The primary challenge lay in avoiding a generic corporate layout, establishing instead a spatial configuration where brand identity, workflow efficiency, and user experience coexist.
The spatial organization is guided by the concept of “Core Connection”. A modern industrial aesthetic mirrors Hilti’s technical domain, utilizing a restrained palette of white, neutral grey, and concrete-effect finishes. Within this framework, the brand’s signature red functions as a visual thread, linking key functional zones and establishing a distinct spatial rhythm. Exposed ceilings, red-painted metal mesh, and textured surfaces evoke an industrial typology, translating the corporate value of integrity into an architectural language of structural clarity and transparency.
Several bespoke interior elements reinforce this identity-driven approach. In the reception area, a three-dimensional equipment display wall transforms the arrival sequence into an immersive introduction to Hilti’s product ecosystem. In the lounge, a standing collaboration table inspired by the company’s iconic toolbox repurposes a familiar brand object into a functional architectural element. To counter the rawness of the industrial palette, the design introduces soft interior curves, warm ambient lighting, and a biophilic green wall integrated with the company’s motto – “Make Construction Better”. Maximized access to natural daylight further enhances the indoor environmental quality and supports the well-being of the staff.
The 262-square-meter floor plan optimizes spatial efficiency through a flexible zoning strategy that balances open workstations, private meeting rooms, and informal breakout areas. This configuration allows collaboration, focused tasks, and confidential meetings to occur simultaneously within a legible spatial system. Sustainability and execution speed were addressed through the selection of durable materials, including commercial vinyl flooring and prefabricated steel elements, alongside daylight optimization strategies.
