  • Okaloosa Gas District engaged our team to shape the experiential core of their new four-building corporate headquarters in Valparaiso, Florida. The Administration Building serves as the heart of the campus and was thoughtfully designed as a dynamic, human-centered environment that supports the daily operations of the Operations, Accounting, Marketing, IT, and HR departments. Our design approach focused on creating a cohesive interior environment that seamlessly blends dedicated workspaces with amenity-driven and social areas. We developed a variety of spatial experiences, including collaborative zones, informal gathering spaces, and quiet areas for focused work. These spaces allow employees to transition naturally between different modes of working while supporting productivity and engagement.

We incorporated biophilic design principles throughout the building by introducing natural materials, organic forms, and a calming color palette. These elements foster a sense of warmth and comfort while promoting employee well-being and a stronger connection to the surrounding environment. Each floor features a centralized social hub that encourages interaction and collaboration. These hubs are visually and physically connected by a prominent three-story staircase, which acts as a unifying design feature and promotes movement and connectivity across all levels of the building.
