INDIGO Offices – Prishtina
The Indigo Office in Prishtina, Kosovo, designed by Manjolla Stublla, blends a restrained material palette with a clear spatial organization to create a functional and inviting workspace that embodies material honesty.
The Indigo Office is a 149-square-meter workspace located on the ground floor of one of Indigo’s residential developments in Prishtina, Kosovo. Designed for a construction-focused architecture practice, the project explores how a restrained material palette and clear spatial organization can create a functional and welcoming work environment.
The design is guided by a philosophy of material honesty. Exposed concrete ceilings, textured grey plaster walls, and visible construction joints reveal the building’s structure rather than concealing it. These raw surfaces are balanced by warm terracotta tones, natural wood finishes, soft lighting, and carefully selected furnishings that introduce warmth and comfort throughout the office.
A linear layout organizes the workspace into a sequence of connected zones, including reception, meeting rooms, design studios, finance offices, and executive spaces. Full-height glass partitions maintain visual continuity and natural light penetration while providing the level of privacy required for daily operations.
The reception area serves as the focal point of the project, featuring a sculptural stainless-steel desk positioned against a textured backdrop. Throughout the office, the material palette remains intentionally limited, allowing proportion, light, texture, and craftsmanship to define the character of the space.
Rather than relying on decorative elements, the project seeks to create atmosphere through construction logic, material expression, and spatial clarity. The result is a contemporary workplace that reflects the values of the practice it houses while supporting collaboration, focus, and day-to-day functionality.
