Designed and delivered by SHAKE Design & Build, the Cardif Lux Vie project at The Edge in Luxembourg redefines the workplace as a fully integrated ecosystem where design, technology, and functionality work together seamlessly. Developed across multiple levels, the project goes beyond a conventional office fit-out to create a high-performance environment that supports both operational efficiency and user experience.
At the core of the project is a carefully structured workplace strategy, where every area has a clearly defined purpose. From technical infrastructure and support functions to collaborative spaces and focused work environments, each element has been designed to contribute to a coherent and efficient workplace experience.
A key aspect of the project is its sophisticated technical backbone. Integrated throughout the building, this infrastructure has been seamlessly embedded within the office environment, ensuring long-term flexibility, reliability, and performance. The technical systems remain largely invisible to users while providing the foundation required to support the organisation’s day-to-day operations and future needs.
The workspace itself is organised with clarity and precision. Structured floorplates, optimised open-plan areas, and a variety of work settings create an environment that supports different modes of working throughout the day. Detailed space planning ensures a balanced workplace where concentration, interaction, and collaboration can coexist effectively.
