Keystone Bank Offices – Bee Cave
S. Tipton Studio’s design for the Keystone Bank Offices in Bee Cave, Texas, reimagines the banking experience with a warm, community-centric headquarters that elegantly balances functionality and approachability, featuring distinct curved elements and inviting gathering spaces.
Keystone Bank partnered with S. Tipton Studio to design its new 18,250-square-foot headquarters in Bee Cave, Texas, creating a workplace that reflects the bank’s continued growth while building upon the visual identity established at its downtown location. Rather than embracing the formality traditionally associated with financial institutions, the design emphasizes warmth, approachability and connection, creating an environment that supports employees, welcomes clients and strengthens community relationships.
Spanning two floors, the headquarters includes client-facing banking areas, private offices, meeting rooms, boardrooms, collaborative spaces and a flexible community room. A cohesive architectural language ties these diverse functions together while allowing each space to support its unique purpose.
Curved architectural elements serve as one of the defining features of the project. Integrated throughout the interior, these forms soften the workplace, guide circulation and create a natural rhythm between gathering areas, workspaces and client-facing environments. The curves contrast with the rigid geometry often associated with traditional banking spaces, reinforcing a more welcoming and human-centered experience.
The double-height entry serves as the centerpiece of the headquarters. An open staircase visually connects both levels while a sculptural installation of smoked glass pendant lights activates the vertical volume, creating a striking focal point visible from both inside and outside the building. The feature establishes a strong first impression while reinforcing continuity throughout the space.
Material and lighting selections further support the project’s hospitality-inspired atmosphere. Rich wood finishes, curated lighting fixtures and layered textures introduce warmth and sophistication without feeling overly formal. Throughout the headquarters, daylight, open sightlines and thoughtfully integrated gathering spaces encourage collaboration while maintaining the privacy and security required within a banking environment.
One of the project’s most distinctive features is its community room, a flexible space designed to host meetings, events and educational programming. By extending the headquarters beyond daily banking operations, the space reflects Keystone Bank’s commitment to serving as a community partner while creating opportunities for meaningful connection between employees, clients and the surrounding community.
This new headquarters demonstrates how thoughtful workplace design can challenge expectations of traditional financial environments, creating a modern, welcoming destination that supports both business operations and relationship-driven banking.
