  • Located in the heart of Vietnam’s Central Highlands, the new Heineken Buon Ma Thuot office embodies a journey of origins. This immersive workplace celebrates the art of brewing and honors the region’s unique spirit. Designed by QDSpaces, this project translates Heineken’s story into a spatial experience where global heritage harmonizes with local identity.

At the core of the concept is a profound analogy to the brewing process itself. Every Heineken is crafted through the precise union of natural ingredients and the legendary Heineken A-Yeast®, mirroring the seamless blending of two worlds: the centuries-old brewing heritage of Amsterdam and the breathtaking landscapes of Buon Ma Thuot.

The design visualizes the pure waters emerging from the Central Highlands’ mountains, flowing effortlessly through the terrain and intertwining with the distinctive character of Heineken’s yeast. This symbolic encounter transcends beer-making; it represents transformation, where nature, culture, and craftsmanship coalesce to create something exceptional and universally cherished.
This narrative unfolds throughout the office with fluid spatial compositions and layered materiality.
The elegant fusion of the highland pattern with the pure white of a solid-surface counter creates a striking visual effect. An elephant rests on a textured rock backdrop, while the curves from the experience area flow seamlessly into the workspace. This natural movement reflects the essence of Heineken deep in the central highlands, where the spirit of the land meets the influence of groundwater.

Curved forms and cascading elements evoke the movement of water across the highlands, while textures inspired by volcanic stone, mist, and native landscapes firmly root the workplace in its local context. Interwoven with these natural references are refined interpretations of Heineken’s visual language—its iconic green hues, copper accents reminiscent of brewing vessels, and moments of illumination that capture the effervescence and vitality of the brewing process.

The workplace is a sequence of experiences, inviting employees and visitors to navigate spaces that embody discovery and connection. Collaborative areas serve as gathering points, akin to the fermentation process—places where ideas, perspectives, and talents merge to create new possibilities. Informal settings and communal zones cultivate a sense of belonging, reflecting the warmth and openness intrinsic to both Heineken’s culture and the hospitality of the Central Highlands.

Rather than simply applying branding as a graphic layer, the design integrates Heineken’s DNA into the very architecture of the workplace. The office becomes a vibrant expression of the brand’s core values: craftsmanship, authenticity, and the belief that exceptional outcomes arise from meaningful combinations.

Thus, the new Heineken Buon Ma Thuot office transcends the notion of a regional workplace. It stands as a contemporary celebration of brewing as a cultural and human endeavor—a destination where the legendary spirit of Amsterdam harmonizes with the elemental beauty of the Central Highlands, and where the fusion of pure mountain waters and Heineken’s unique A-Yeast® serves as a powerful metaphor for creating something truly extraordinary: Heineken itself.
