BFI Bank Offices by BMA Group Lisboa elegantly redefines the traditional banking environment by transforming the space into a sophisticated workplace that marries professionalism with comfort, showcasing the institution’s values through refined design, innovative layouts, and biophilic elements.
Located on Lisbon’s iconic Avenida da Liberdade, the new BFI Bank offices were conceived as a refined workplace that reflects the institution’s values of trust, prestige, and contemporary excellence. The project involved the complete transformation of an outdated 250 sqm office into a sophisticated, highly functional environment designed to support both client engagement and everyday operations.
The design approach focused on creating a balanced atmosphere where professionalism meets comfort. Inspired by the hospitality sector, the workspace combines executive elegance with a welcoming, lounge-inspired character. Warm lighting, carefully selected materials, and rich textures work together to create an environment that feels both exclusive and approachable.
From the moment visitors enter, the reception area establishes a strong sense of identity, integrating the bank’s brand seamlessly into the architectural language of the space. Clean lines, bespoke detailing, and a restrained material palette reinforce a timeless aesthetic while enhancing the perception of quality and permanence.
The layout was carefully optimized to maximize the potential of every square meter. A combination of open collaborative areas, private offices, and technologically advanced meeting rooms supports a variety of working styles while ensuring the privacy and discretion expected within the financial sector. Biophilic elements were introduced throughout the office to bring warmth and natural balance to the workplace, contributing to employee wellbeing and enhancing the overall user experience.
Attention to detail was central to every stage of the project, from space planning and interior design to fit-out execution and furniture integration. The result is a contemporary banking environment that combines operational efficiency with a premium client experience. The completed workplace reflects BFI Bank’s ambition and reputation, delivering a distinctive office destination within one of Lisbon’s most prestigious business addresses
